How do I lose 30 pounds fast?
15th April, 2009

I am trying to get back in to shape. I need to lose about 30 pounds as part of my first step.
you dont lose it fast…. its not healthy
if you lose it fast it comes back even faster sometimes with added weight…
you should lose about 1-2 pounds a week… the first 10lbs will come off much faster and easier, after that dont be discouraged, your body is just adjusting to the healthy change..
drink plenty of water, watch what your eating (portion control is a major part), and add some exercise in…. start out easy with it all….if you change all this too fast you will burn yourself out and give up…. every week do a little more… then more and then more till your at a comfy pace….
theres a website called sparkpeople.com… its great and full of plenty of information and support
good luck and best wishes!!

Well I mean that's a lot of weight.
Really, only thing you can do if you don't want to take pills, stuff like that.
Is just exercising your booty off and trying to eat right.Really all you can do.
Good luck.

Just follow these steps that I have personally followed (I lost 35-40 pounds this past summer, dropping me from 200 to 165)
1) Watch what you eat and how much you eat. Stop drinking soda and start drinking a lot of water. Stop eating junk food. Also, don't eat as much as you used to. I am not saying starve yourself, but just don't overeat. Also, try to start eating 3 meals a day. If that's not possible, have a healthy snack during the day.
2) Exercise. Running is a great way to lose weight and burn fat. Don't worry if you start slow, running is a hard activity to do. You can alos lift weights in conjunction to your running to gain muscle and tone your body. Don't worry about doing ab crunches yet because ab crunches really only help give you six packs; you can do this later.
3) Commitment. Do not give up on yourself and stay positive. When you weigh yourself you might find the weight loss minimal. However, if you lose about 2 pounds a week that's 8 pounds a month. This might seem small to you but trust me, it will be worth it.
Have fun and good luck!
