my dad went on the south beach diet. he lost 40 pounds, and has kept it off for over 5 years. just follow the plan it and you’ll lose it. however, you have to be pretty disciplined. if you buy the south beach diet book, it has lots of food recipes for you. good luck! hope this helps!
you also have to exercise regularly. try running 3 miles 3 times a week, then adding in more exercises over time. swimming is good too.

if your looking to lose weight, and keep it off - there is only one way to do this. excercise, and eat healthy. losing weight is aprox 70% diet and 30% exercise - so make sure you are eating healthy, small meals through out the entire day. also, an hour (or more) of cardio 4-5 days a week will help you lose the weight faster. lifting weights will tone your body, but also make you gain weight, so if you’re looking to ‘tone up’ - you should go by inches lost, not pounds - as you may only lose 20 lbs, but have lost 30 lbs of fat - and gained 10 lbs of muscle. you’ll notice a difference in the way you feel in about a week - and notice the way you look in about a month. if you want to be healthier and way less, you’re going to have to change the way you live, eat, and excercise. that’s all there is to it. don’t buy into any of the ‘quick fixes’ or diet fads. they don’t work, and can be unhealthy for you. good luck

run run run, eat more meals but less food.
spread your food types for a week and eat them all in mini bites. this means, you still eat ice cream, chocolates, and everything else but only once a week and in very small ‘matchbox’ portions. This way, you do not crave for them.
Then, do cardio exercise. walk, run, aerobics, you name it. or you can ust join a dance club and dance on the dance floor for at least 3 hours a night. (no alcohol please)
This should be fun to work on! Okay, you can try enrolling in some classes like: kickboxing, yoga, pilates, or etc. Or go to a gym! I did that & my calves turned out great! My legs look great from that. Or you can try going on a diet where you only eat 1500 calories a day & just keep yourself occupied! Get involved in alot of stuff ( if you’re not already ) and by doing that you won’t think about eating! Chew gum alot! Or everytime you’re about to eat something you shouldn’t, just think about how you’re trying to lose weight and use self control Oh and another way is by getting a physical trainer! They’re tough, but they’re great! I hope this helped!
