I will try to address the question - “Is Hoodia Gordonii a good way to lose weight?” The weight loss industry has changed in the last couple of years. Today more and more people are looking for a way to lose weight. For some weight loss is just a matter of vanity and for others it is for health reasons. As you might have read, some recent medical studies have linked obesity to harmful health problems such as diabetes, heart problems, backaches, as well as many other major and minor health issues.  In our fast passed society, folks want to lose weight as fast and as easily as they can. This is not a good idea. 

The decision to lose weight is certainly not a bad decision; it shows you are finally becoming conscious of how critical it is to your health and fitness. Even if you are doing it for purely cosmetic reasons, it would still benefit your health in a big way. However, the notion of losing weight quickly is not very realistic.

 
People who desire to lose weight fast often fall for fad diet plans whose distributors often make outrageous promises that are usually untrue. Obviousley even Hoodia Gordonii probably will not help you obtain effective weight loss if you do not cooperate with the Hoodia. Yes, it would keep your hunger controlled for quite a while so that you won’t have hunger pangs, but if you starve yourself in the hope of quick weight loss, or start consumming junk foods, then you won’t get any slimmer. You also should excercise as normal, even though Hoodia is a great way to lose weight it is not a replacement for an active lifestyle.

In summary, if you combine Hoodia Gordonii with exercise and diet, you are sure to lose weight with it!

Burn more calories than you consume to lose weight. Once the diet part is planned, get to the exercise. This should include seven days a week, 30 minutes a day of aerobic exercise. It can be running on a treadmill, swimming, or simply walking to lose weight. Walking is a low impact way to meet the exercise goal. With a few tips in mind it can be even better.

Walking for 30 minutes a day every day of the week is a great start. In fact, it’s much better than the five day, or even three day, plan that many gurus recommend. 30 minutes of exercise 3-5 times a week just isn’t enough. The body needs work every day. That means seven days a week and if walking is the way to make that tolerable every day for the rest of your life, then walk.

But then more can be added. Additional physical work, outside that 30 minutes a day seven days a week, is easy. Park the car further from the store or office, then walk. Instead of gobbling a bagel while riding the elevator up to your floor, enjoy a some fruit while walking up the stairs. When it’s time to rid the yard of leaves use the old fashioned hand rake rather than the leaf blower. Muscle power is exercise. If you have kids get involved in their games of tag, or chase. They’ll love it and so will your health.

Intervals can be added once the walking has been established. After a short period of walking run, then walk again, then go back to running. Start out running once or twice in a 30 minute walk, then up it to more often until you’re walking 4 minutes then running 1 minute It’s not really difficult.

Make walking a whole family activity. Walk the kids to school instead of driving them. Walk to the store. Get out and see the sights. And no, don’t stop walking just because of some rain. Wear a rain coat and some galoshes.

Do simple weight exercise three times a week. More muscle mass means a faster metabolism. A faster metabolism means burning more calories, and thus more fat, even when you’re simply performing routine, day to day activities. You’ll also generally look and feel better.

Never skip breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you do your body gets a message that it’s starving, and transitions to slow metabolism mode. A slow metabolism is the enemy of fat burning. Remember too that eating too little will also drop the body into starvation mode. Most people need to consume at least 1200 calories each day.

Fat burning workouts combined with healthy eating can have amazing results. They don’t have to be difficult. In fact if it’s too hard you’ll lose motivation and quit the program. Most people make it less than a month with a new workout routine. Don’t be one of these short term health enthusiasts.

He tried various diets, but they didn’t work because he still had all those hours behind a counter during which to cheat.  Then he realized there was a Subway sandwich shop not too far from where he lived.  Without knowing it he was inventing the Subway diet.  He immediately stopped eating breakfast while walking the 1 ½ miles to Subway for lunch and dinner – a sandwich, baked chips and a diet soda.  He went from consuming 10,000 calories daily to about 900, while adding a 6 mile hike to his daily routing.  For Jared the yet named Subway diet made 245 pounds disappear in the span of a single year.

How did Jared become a nationally recognized figure? A friend of Jared’s, who worked for the University newspaper, ran into him.  After Jared told him how he had lost so much weight, this guy turned it into a feature for the paper. Someone at Men’s Health magazine read about Jared and decided to include his diet in a feature about crazy diets that work.  When a Chicago Subway owner read the story he contacted his advertising agency about making it into an ad.  When the Chicago guys tried to get funding from the national advertising agency for a campaign, they were told it would bomb, so they funded it themselves for a local run in Chicago.

The campaign around the Subway diet became huge.  It was a natural for Chicago based Oprah to feature Jared and his Subway diet on her popular national show.  Subway’s national ad people contacted the Chicago ad people about airing the ad nationally.
