What is the fastest way to lose 30 pounds before summer?

You probably want to lose FAT, not weight. Weight is fat, but also includes muscle, water, bone, and stool. 30lbs before summer is doable. Start now though.
To lose fat:
1.DON'T BELIVE THOSE FAD DIETS!
2.Eat healthy and eat about 500 calories a day less than you normally do (DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF!)
3.Do light/moderate cardio 3 to 5 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes each time.
4.Do some strength training to make sure you lose fat and not muscle. Don't worry, you won't look like the hulk if you lift weights.
5.You should lose about 1-2lbs per week. If you lose more than that, chances are the rest is stool, water weight, or even muscle mass.
6.Weigh yourself only once a week at the same time (ie every Friday morning). Your weight fluctuates a lot during any 24hour period because of water and food intake and also bowel movements.
7. Be patient and be smart.

i went on a cherrio and tuna diet.

if you feel hungry just eat cherrios with fat free milk.

The first step is telling yourself you are fat. Remind yourself every time you eat you are fat. When you turn on the TV tell yourself you are fat.

being a doctor and to answer your question , try practice yoga meditation , take vegetarian food and chant Amitofo Amitofo Amitofo as many times as you can without stop after 1 week you will lose pound believe me i am not joking

There is no fast solution. If you burn 3,500 more calories than you take in you will lose one pound.
Start reading labels. Walking for an hour burns about 200 calories. Half an hour on an elliptical trainer burns about 250 calorie. Do the math. One South Beach protein snack bar is 140 calories. You can see that it takes tine to gain weight and time to lose. If you cut back too drastically on calories, your metabolism will slow down and burn calories more slowly. It a complex equation.

Summer is a long time from now. So the best thing I could say is exercise and eat healthy. Have sweets once in a while but not a lot. Don't do diets because they won't help. Hope that helps
